Jenni Kayne’s Fall Style Event is happening this weekend (20% off everything through 10/19) — which is a great time to take a look at your closet to see what basics might need upgrading / pick up a new sweater staple for the season. You know I live in my Jenni Kayne pieces (such timeless classics to remix) and I wanted to share an updated post with some of my all-time wardrobe heroes along with my newer October favorites. I’m loving all of the camel and chocolate brown hues especially!
My top Jenni Kayne picks |
— The cashmere half zip has replaced my sweatshirts for an easy throw-on in the morning for school drop-off. It’s cozy / soft and just looks a bit nicer then said average sweatshirt. I own the charcoal color that is now sold out but it’s still available in a pretty dove gray and camel. Such a great around the house / easy one that you’ll want to live in.
— I love this cropped turtleneck as a fall wardrobe staple which comes in a few classic colors (it’s a cashmere wool blend that’s super cozy and warm), or for an even more lux seasonal staple, the cashmere turtleneck is beyond beautiful and soft / cozy! The cashmere version would be my top vote here but I do like that cropped cut.
— This is my puffer jacket of choice. It’s such a stylish / super warm one and comes in great colors (I love the new copper color). It also comes in a long version in a classic black if you’re in need and live in a snowy state! Mine has held up really well and still looks brand new after a few years of wear.
— The cashmere overcoat is a gorgeous wear with everything staple as well. It’s topping my wishlist at the moment this season as a camel coat upgrade. I like the wrap style tie which is very flattering… and the price point is pretty great with the 20% off.
— JK Forever Favorites: Cashmere Cardigan and Cocoon Cardigans, they’re definitely throw on staples for my everyday mom-mode lifestyle. The Cashmere version would be my top vote if you don’t already own as it is hands down my most worn (black is a classic must for this time of year). It’s just so soft and all I want to live in (like wrapping up in a cashmere blanket) once the weather turns. The cocoon cardigan is an oversized chunkier knit and I am obsessed with it in the new coca color. Again, having a love for chocolate browns this season! (I would size down in both of these as they’re quite oversized styles).
— A sweater dress is a wardrobe staple of mine and the Jenni Kayne one is super comfy. I’ve realized over the past few years that as someone who’s petite this style just flatters me best. I love the versatility and comfort and wearing this dress with boots or more dressed up. I’m wearing it in the XS and like the slightly longer length on me.
— This is hands down the best cashmere beanie. It comes in so many great colors and it’s just by far my favorite one that I’ve worn for years.
— And the cashmere gloves are high on my personal wishlist at the moment as well as the cashmere socks which are so cozy / make for such great gifts.
