It was a perfectly drizzly day yesterday and I just loved it! Getting caught in the rain walking Rex to school… also getting drenched during my morning workout with our neighborhood crew (I don’t think I’ve ran in the rain / worked out that hard in the rain since high school… it was SO fun!!), and then puddle jumping in the afternoon with Willow… it all filled me up so much.
You asked for rainy day style so I’ve rounded up some rainy day jacket finds for you… for us and the toddlers! Actually it wasn’t until getting ready for preschool drop-off in the rain this morning that I realized I don’t have any easy throw-on sporty jackets with hoods. I have puffers and trench coats covered but not all of mine have hoods which is silly when you think about it! So I went on a bit of a hunt rounding up some cool options. I’m thinking I personally need something sporty for working out (love this one) or a shell jacket most. Something like this.
The only rain boots exciting me this season are the boots from Freda Salvador. They’re just my favorite, so comfy and cool looking (for rainy weather boots). I’m wearing the Emi Lug Boot here and also love the Brooke Rain Resistant Boot which comes in four really pretty colors.
