I always shop for my kids at The Gap and was pleasantly surprised when browsing lately to find so many great basics for myself. If you’re wanting a capsule of minimal elevated warm weather essentials The Gap sure has you covered right now. I’m into their linen-cotton separates and gauzy pieces especially for the heat. And this tank (actually a few of you have recommended I try!) has a nice thickness to it and quality that I would compare to some of my pricier designer tees. Go Gap!

I was excited to find these linen-cotton pants for myself and they’re exactly what I’ve been looking for. Just an easy warm weather style that looks nice but is also super comfy for mom-life and everything in-between. (They run a bit big which actually goes with the comfort level.)
I also snagged this sweater vest to wear with the pants and sized up one size to wear it a bit more oversized. This is one of those easy sets to wear together that takes very little thought on your part and looks great. It was all I wanted to wear this past weekend and I went from a date with Willow to Rex’s baseball game and out to dinner.
These sandals are a great simple spring / summer style that look like The Row. I wore this pair to my son’s baseball game as mentioned and didn’t worry about getting them dusty / dirty. They have a nice cushion to them, are quite comfy, and were easy to rinse the dust off of when I came home! (I bought my true size in these.)
This is the tank I mentioned that has a nice thickness and quality to it that I would compare to some of my pricier tanks! The cut is really flattering and it’s just a great summer basic / staple to stock up on.
Lastly, I also scooped up these gauze shorts (they come in white and black) for summer days with the kids / around the house or in the backyard.
And for Rex ~ I grabbed these quick dry shorts which he’s already lived in this past weekend and now I’m thinking I should get a second pair. It’s a great knock around short that he can get wet ~ perfect for these boys and all of their sports too. This henley is so cute, a new rash guard and new swim trunks.
