As we transition into fall-mode one of my favorite looks will forever be a dress and boots combination. This is such a great time to go through your closet and do a bit of an edit / assessment of what you have and plan some looks you can build upon. I love pairing dresses with my fall / winter boots, a pair of loafers (these have been on my wishlist for some time now), or adding rich hued accessories… for that seasonal touch.
I recently found this Tove dress at Saks and I’m obsessed with the fit, look and how comfortable it is. More so than I thought I would be with this dress (it also comes in gray and black although I’m such a fan of an ivory dress and this one really spoke to me). I love a longer sleeve. I also love a low v-neck, and I like the midi-length and dressier / lightweight fabric. I paired it with my boots so I would be able to hill walk to dinner in San Francisco this past weekend but I also love the idea of it paired with strappy heels like these. Saks has a great selection of Tove if you have any special events coming up, it’s such a beautiful line for chic wardrobe staples.
