You know what will make you feel cute? ~ getting glasses and a mouth guard in one week. LOL. That’s how my February started.
Omg but let’s talk about eyeglasses! It’s a whole new world for me these days… WOW. I truly saw the world through a lovely Instagram filter before… soft, slightly blurred in the distance,… and I really don’t like seeing the pores on my face that clear and closely now!! Yikes, I’m sorry to my friends for my appearance over the past decade as who knows what I didn’t see on my face. But all jokes aside it’s helping my eye strain while on the computer and I’ve had fun eyeglass shopping. If I have to wear glasses at least I’m going to find some fun ones!
I’ll still be writing on my blog regularly, but it seems like a better platform to send out my newsletter and for connecting with you guys! I literally just opened the app this week (late to the party) so please share your favorite reads with me. Do you guys like the chat feature?! DM’s sometimes get lost so I thought this could be nice for certain Qs.

From walks in my neighborhood to Rex’s sports practices ~ I’m a big baseball cap wearer. I’ve been on the hunt for some new ones… and I love a playful merch hat! Into: Masculine Scents on Women
After staying at my girlfriend Meghan’s place last weekend and using her toiletries / bathroom beauty lineup like my own personal Sephora, I now have this perfume on my wishlist when I run out next. It’s SO sexy!
In the past couple years I’ve gravitated towards more masculine scents and my hairdresser (a man) keeps giving me compliments when I do. Always saying how sexy a masculine scent is on a woman. Agreed! There’s something intriguing and mysterious about a woman in a more musky scent. My personal favorites I’ve worn the most over the past year or so have been: Regime des Fleurs Rock River Melody and Frederic Malle, Portrait of a Lady.

Fun Frames: Eye Glasses
If you have a smaller face (like I do) the hunt for eye glasses has been a bit trickier. I think Oliver Peoples has the best options for us, and I bought the: Oliver Peoples Nilos. Caddis has a similar style too for a bit of a save if you like that look.

Subtle Edge: Bar Earring
So I know I’ve shared this bar earring before but just in case you missed it ~ I wore it this week and it’s just a cool subtle ear statement! Mom mode especially means that I’m in a lot of athelesuire and taking Rex to and from sports practices, so even if in a sweatshirt if I have some accessories on I feel like myself.

Watching: One Day
Along with everyone else I just started watching One Day this week ~ I can’t remember if I’ve read the book or not? haha. I’m just a couple episodes in… I can’t feel their chemistry?… but I think I’m into it! Are you guys watching anything good?
