Date night tops / those more special tops is one category I think we’re always looking for? Those tops that can be easily dressed up or just worn casually with jeans and a heel but always makes you feel your best! As we transition into fall mode I’ve been thinking about these closet staples of mine and what I’ve been wearing the most lately. I’ve rounded up mainly the more neutrals, whites and blacks in this category because personally I love these closet heroes that feel like you can wear them and restyle time and time again.
This summer I found a new love for off-the-shoulder tops. Maybe it was the fact that I had a bit of a tan going on… but I’ve loved that even a simple linen strapless top felt a bit dressier. And had so much styling potential! Tucked into skirts, worn with shorts / jeans,… with a blazer on top.
I recently got this By Malene Birger top (more sizes here and the matching skirt) and it’s such a flattering one with the square neckline! I’ve worn it casually so far… to wine country with a skirt and on a casual dinner date after back to school night with these jeans… which side note, loving for fall!
