Creative Office Dressing Inspo

I sure miss dressing for an office work environment on the daily! I received a handful of requests for more creative office / corporate office dressing so I thought I’d round up a selection of work staples that also won’t break the bank and can be mixed and matched with what you already own. When it comes to creative work dressing it’s really all about the styling and accessorizing…

I’ve been impressed with both J.Crew and Banana Republic lately. Such great styling. BR has a great professional edit. I think J.Crew does a nice job of blending the more casual creative office type with pieces that also work well for everyday life… this lookbook will get you in the fall dressing mood!).

I also really like Net-A-Porter’s Workwear edit as well as Shopbop’s New -Season Workwear and Matches Transitional Wardrobe Staples edits for ideas.

Another smaller brand I love for closet staples… both for the office and just in general, is Apiece Apart. I have a skirt I’ve owned from the brand and have worn for years. Similar, another great option, and this one too. It always makes me feel a bit more polished when I put it on. It’s actually what I wore on the plane to Hawaii / when traveling if I don’t want to wear jeans because it’s a nice longer length. I also really love this transitional dressing edit they have right now on their site if looking for inspiration for dressing during these in-between seasons.

Also! Veronica Beard! The best work blazers… such a good fit. (If you’re petite I always find VB to be a bit long in pants but the fit is great so you’ll just need a little hemming).
