Girls’ Sonoma Getaway | My Ideal Itinerary

After spending a couple days in Sonoma with my best girls ~ I thought I’d put together a little itinerary for you of some of my favorite spots that would make for the most relaxing recharge of a weekend. This is a slow-paced agenda for maximizing girl time. In my book the less plans / scheduled things to drive around to in wine country the better! Reservations are necessary but it’s also nice to have plenty of downtime.

Sonoma is one of my favorite spots to visit as the slower pace instantly puts you in that relaxed state of mind. Wine country is always special and the perfect spot for a recharge but it’s especially magical this time of year as the rolling vineyard views are golden and the leaves are starting to change. The air is crisp and it’s perfect for cozying up next to the fire with a bottle of wine and settling in for all of that girl-catch-up! Hope you can plan a getaway soon!! xx

My Perfect Sonoma Weekend Itinerary |

Ease into the slower pace of Sonoma with an afternoon tasting / lunch at the Scribe Hacienda (leaving at that golden dusk hour with the pink skies is pure magic and sets the tone for a relaxing weekend!)

Check into your hotel (this was my second time staying at MacArthur Place* and it’s perfect for a girls’ weekend… the proximity to the square is so nice for walking and biking). Have dinner on the property at Layla because you won’t want to leave the hotel and the charm of the property. (I vote for dinner outside if the weather is nice!) *Or if you’re feeling like going out again, dinner at Girl & the Fig is a Sonoma staple.

Morning yoga at MacArthur / time poolside (it’s heated!) or at the spa.

Activities with the Girls

Meet girlfriends for a late lunch at Bear (at Stanly Ranch * another fave spot if staying in the area ~ I would save this one for a special occasion with my husband, it has the best spa!!)

Grab a bottle of wine and circle around the fire pits back at MacArthur and end your night with room service and lots of girl chat in your sweats. They also have s’mores kits if you have a sweet tooth!

Sleep-in, grab a coffee at The Porch and walk into the Sonoma square for breakfast at Valley before you have to get on the road.
