My most used bags this summer (and over the years) are my Dragon Diffusion bags. They are my top pick if you’re in the market for a summer bag.
Founded by Craig Wright, they are all beautifully handmade by artisans using traditional basket-weaving. I love that they’re minimal, lightweight (all you want in a summer bag), the woven leather wears beautifully and they come in a number of sizes and colors depending on your mood. All of the colors used are natural dyes.
I’ve collected a few styles over the years because I just can’t get enough! I carry this bag for everyday. I love this size and style for say a girls’ happy hour / event when you might need a few extras but not much… and this green has been my obsession for a smaller day bag / evening size.
The other bags I love for summer and carry often are from Khaite. You know my Khaite obsession is real. It’s my city vibe / fix! I own and use a large Khaite raffia tote from last year all the time for everyday / beach days… and going to the pool with the kids. It’s an ideal larger size for carrying towels. (New season style that’s not quite as large but a great carryall option for everyday).

And I picked up this raffia style from Mytheresa for summer which is fun in this color! I love this bag style / shape in general so much… as well as in the suede (new season) for evenings out.

This(medium / large size) was what I carried when my kid’s were in diapers, and I had a pouch inside that fit a couple diapers when we were out and about. I wouldn’t carry my laptop in it as the leather might stretch… but it can carry a lot (ie: a great mom-bag or workbag… your book, makeup bag etc.). It comes in a few gorgeous colors but green has been my go-to choice to carry this summer. And it’s a very comfy style to carry over your shoulder. Also key for everyday toting around.
As mentioned, I love this small / medium size (additional colors here) for summer parties / going out. You can easily fit the essentials and say a camera / a few kid extras (coloring crayons / activities for dinner out). This bag is a more structured style and the leather is much stiffer. So it will hold its shape nicely.
And my latest Dragon Diffusion summer buy was this mini in green for Cabo. I think it’s such a fun color and a great mini size for evening.
