San Francisco is my home away from home these days as I tend to spend at least 2 days out of the week in this cute city. And despite the fact that the city by the bay is experiencing the best weather ever this week (hello 80s*), last week was pretty chilly, as per the norm. So a sweatshirt (I mentioned my obsessioin here) and a go-to pair of black skinnies it was for me last week! I love that between the edgy front-slit, a killer statement jacket and heeled sandals, your “typical gray sweatshirt and jeans look” feels elevated and in fact, not so typical at all.
As I continue to streamline my closet, and think about what is realistic with my current lifestyle now that back in le casual Californ-i-a… I’ve concluded it’s all about high quality basics with a twist (i.e.: a touch of personality like this sweatshirt which is why I’m thinking I might need two as it’s already getting quite a bit of play).
