Ulla Johnson speaks to my vacay / spring / summer California girl heart! I always keep an eye on the latest Ulla collections whenever I have an upcoming warm weather trip or am craving something that feels a little extra special and colorful. I popped into the Bleecker Street store after grabbing brunch with a girlfriend around the corner (at Raf’s btw ~ so yum!) over the weekend and was instantly transported to that resort mindset and excited for sunshine!!
Here’s what I bought and is catching my eye if you have warm weather trips coming up…
In my own closet I’m craving color ~ and those more special tops for casual hangs / nights out / wine country dates etc. that I typically just wear jeans but want a fun blouse to pair with.
It is formed fitting and slightly cropped but it hits at a nice place (not too much skin showing) with a high-rise jean.
Floral Blouse
This floral blouse that is begging for a trip to wine country. I love the print, the blues that pair nicely with denim and the sculptural shape. This is one of those tops I know I’ll grab for often this season when craving something “fun” for a casual girls’ hang / night out.
Brick top
And this flirty brick top (also available in this pretty shade if you’re a neutrals girl)… and has a matching skirt. I do love a set! Especially when traveling. *Which by the way ~ one of my favorite Ulla sets from last summer is now on sale (top and skirt ~ you can also wear the skirt on it’s own with just a simple tank). I’m wearing it in Kona here.
And a few other Ulla pieces that I didn’t bring home with me but are on my wishlist…
Mini Sea Shell Bag
The cutest mini sea shell bag (would be great for any spring trips ~ also available here and here), this swimsuit (I am all about a strapless suit and this cut reminds me of my favorite Eres one ~ plus this print is so flattering), and this dress (these colors are too good ~ I think it would be long on me but someone needs to wear it!).
