I’ve had more and more friends asking me about non-logo bags so I thought I would share a few lesser known brands that I think are gorgeous options to keep on your radar. If you’re looking for a quality, timeless bag that you will carry for years I think you’ll be happy with any of these brands.
Pretty sure we all know Anine Bing, the LA based minimal, Scandi-inspired brand… and I think Anine has made some really gorgeous classic bags over the past few years. The mini Colette bag is perfect for spring if you’re looking for a smaller option. Or the Cleo is classic in the black croc-embossed.
This cool minimal Scandinavian brand has been a serious brand crush of mine. I love my Noval shoulder bag from the brand and think it’s such a great small to medium size bag (it can hold my small camera, wallet, sunglasses — a little more than the essentials). I also like that the strap is adjustable so you can wear it at the shorter length as well. The leather is also quite durable so it’s a great option if you’re like me and are harder on your bags. (It was the purse I traveled with / carried when in Paris.)
DeMellier has a number of gorgeous styles, all ethically and sustainably made in Spain and Italy. I love this croc-effect bag if you’re looking for a work tote and this is a perfect summer basket bag.
I’m sure you know my love for Dragon Diffusion by now. These beautiful woven leather bags come in a number of colors and great carry-all shapes. You’ll want to collect them in multiple colors as I have over the years. They’ve become my spring / summer bag of choice!… and I am craving this cream shade for spring / summer.
Another Scandinavian designed, Italian made brand that has a number of chic, cool everyday styles. I love the sprout (just got this one in camel and it’s the ideal size!) and tulip bags for work and the maccheroni bag for a gorgeous day-to-evening option.
If you’re on the hunt for a splurge-worthy weekend / carry-all tote or a great work bag (also love) take a look at Métier. I don’t personally own a bag from the brand but have had these on my wish list for a while. So many gorgeous options! All handmade in Italy.
Also Italian made, I’m continually drawn to Neous’ bags and heels (which, the heels by the way, are very The Row-esque). I love the Phoenix baguette bag for another day-to-evening chic option.
Gorgeous Italian leather made line. I own this style in chocolate brown and have also been drawn to this shape in the green bag and this one as well which reminds me of my green Celine bag.
And I can’t not mention my two favorites for minimal design: Khaite and The Row (more styles available here and here). If you’re looking to splurge you can’t go wrong with the quality. I carry my Khaite August Hobo daily and it’s proven to be that ideal mom-mode over the shoulder bag (but still gorgeous) for my lifestyle and daily needs. And if you’re looking for a splurge-worthy travel bag (or larger work bag) I love this style (and this one) from The Row.
And a whole bunch of additional options to browse!
