I’ve been on spring break mode with Rex and Willow for the past couple weeks which was so nice to truly disconnect… but I definitely have some catching-up to do around here! I’m sure you might be feeling it too? It’s always nice to get back to routine after some time away. But on that note, I’m feeling freshly inspired… spring-style wise, to share, so get ready. Starting with 5 spring items been wearing a lot over the past week / my spring essentials to give your wardrobe a new feel again…
5 Spring Things

I spent this past week in Citizen’s of Humanity’s new Tessa culotte, which is a cool wider cropped style. They’re insanely comfy and were perfect for that off-the-grid mom life. Size down one size (I always do in Citizens and Agolde).
I also just got this style from B Sides which isn’t quite as wide as the Tessa (I took my true size)… but it’s another cool / fresh feeling pair. They also come in this non-blue jean color. I like the fit to be looser than seen here on the model. Both pairs fill the gap in the denim hole if you’re looking for something of-the-moment / interesting in style… more of a baggy boyfriend fit. I would get this pair if you already have a classic denim style and are looking for something fresh and comfy.

Speaking of denim, I have been getting some questions about denim shorts ~ and this Parker style has been my go-to for the past few summers as the length is slightly longer. It’s now part of Shopbop’s sale (use code: STYLE for 25% off). Another favorite pair of mine is from Re/Done. This is a great shorter length option and this is a nice longer, clean look (also part of the sale).

I packed super light for our little family getaway and rotated the same pieces all week. I lived in this cardigan from Sister Katie that we now have on Wrel. It’s such a great one to wear with everything from dresses, to denim and over your swimsuit. Sister Katie is one of those brands that is amazing quality but I also like that they’re the essentials I’m not too precious with… a brand to truly live in.

I also mainly lived in these pink Golden Goose sneakers (a pair I got last year) over this past week. I have worn this pair more than any other sneaker I own… honestly surprising myself with how much I’ve worn them… which has helped me justify the price tag. But as someone who lives in neutral colors I’ve been craving pops of color. A playful sneaker has been my answer… wearing with everything from denim to my Easter dress (skirt version). I saw someone in this pair yesterday and they were so rad in person!
Mytheresa has the best edit when it comes to GG sneakers. So many fun pairs! Like this one.
A sweet tank to live in |
Dôen launched their third spring chapter of new arrivals and this sweet top is such a great one to live in all spring / summer. I bought this tank which I plan to wear as a set with this skirt but also looks great with denim. It’s sadly sold out in the mother of pearl color but so pretty in blue.
