I love a little date night inspo! Especially with V-Day around the corner. And I’ve been back on (not that I was ever off)… an Olsen-obsessed-pinning spree… always the best inspiration. I’m dreaming of a glass of wine or a cocktail out in a moody bar soon.
The Look: a slip dress or pants (love this look from above in the green silk pants) worn with an oversized blazer (dressier version with a tie or in cashmere). Or honestly you can’t go wrong with a cool pair of denim and slingback pumps (a jeweled or croc-effect like Ashley’s).
Pulling Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen inspiration always draws me back to my love for sophisticated and chic minimal dressing. Layering silk and satin slip dresses and accessories to make the look interesting. I had fun pulling together some pieces that I would not only buy myself but could see the twins in. Lots of black, ivory and dresses that feel like they’re your best vintage find. I’m also into a pale pink moment right now… maybe Valentine’s Day is speaking to me (like this silk skirt and this dress too)… paired with black accessories and a black coat / blazer on top a la the Olsens.
