I have to say this might be the first swimsuit season I’ve been excited about getting a new suit? In a long time… post babies for sure. And it has everything to do with my current spring color / print crush that’s happening right now. I usually only maybe buy one new suit a season, but this year I’ve already bought two. One simple black suit (my usual staple)… something conservative enough for around the kiddos but I just loved the cut of this Totême one and found it on super sale a few months back. I also bought, admittedly it’s the same cut––this printed floral suit that I first saw while down south in Santa Barbara and just couldn’t get it out of my mind. It’s actually sexier than I’m usually comfortable wearing (cuts pretty high-rise / up the tush on me) so this one I will be saving for the backyard and vacation… or when around my girlfriends! Still love the print so so much, I couldn’t resist. Also, the chic coverup! (I can’t get enough of this palm version too… and this pretty Ulla Johnson one!!) Agua by Agua Benedita is really speaking to me this season! Oh and how fun is this printed caftan if you’re headed somewhere tropical?
A few other suits of note:
I love this J.Crew Bandeau one-piece which I’ve owned for a few seasons now and it’s just so flattering and great for not getting tan lines (comes in a number of colors). It was also a go-to of mine when pregnant with Willow.
I’ve heard such great things about Hunza G suits––one size fits all which seems wild so me but they’re supposed to be so comfy… and come in so many fun colors. Really loving the greens and pinks! This is still one of my most comfortable / most flattering two-pieces I’ve had for 5+ years now.
