I’m all about simplifying… and a serial outfit repeater! I love putting more thought into styling a look but really who has time to do that everyday?! Most mornings I grab for what’s in the pile at the bottom of my bed in a rush to get out the door with my kids. I might change later in the day and put more thought into it but January and February are such gray and wet winter months so I’ve been living in a lot of leisurewear. Here are a few pieces and looks I’ve been repeating lately… _____________ Most worn lately: this pullover (* ALICIA15 for 15% off Jenni Kayne). I love that this one feels somewhere between a sweater and a sweatshirt… for an elevated loungewear vibe. Wear with gray sweatpants or as a matching set with these comfy culottes. The key for wanting to look pulled together when wearing sweats out of the house for me is all in the accessories and jacket. A leather jacket or dressier wool coat over your sweats instantly gives that cool on-the-go look. Another most worn item: these sneakers (on a sunny day!) which feel more like you’re wearing ballet slippers than sneakers. So so comfy! $$$ but I get the Loewe sneaker hype now.

Thoughtless styling: Monochrome ecru, gray or black layers. All-ecru or all-black or mixing the two color combinations with denim is just always such an effortless look that I can easily pull for. Takes zero brain power in the mornings which is just my speed most days.
Highlight of the week
An outing into SF for my art and design fix with girlfriends. We hit up The Future Perfect and March on Sacramento Street which are two of my absolute favorites. I would like to move right into either one of those two!
The sun was out but it was still chilly so I wore ecru layers (this season’s version of my knit with these jeans) and my wool coat… with my green Celine bag that I bought while in Paris. I’ve always loved a pop of green!
Giving me life
And lastly, I picked up this nude red lipstick and it’s giving me life on those especially gray winter days. I have just been blotting it on so it’s a more barely there red lip. Just the right amount of color! (A fun V-Day gift idea).
