Summery Greens

A look from this weekend in a breezy dress made for hot hot days. I don’t like to play favorites but this is one of my fave shades of green. I love this dress for those in-between casual / dressier events when you’re not exactly sure what to wear… a dress that’s easy to pull for and can easily be dressed up for a party or worn more casually over your swimsuit to dinner. I actually originally bought it for my upcoming trip to Mexico but couldn’t wait to wear it!

I have been on a serious hunt for casual platform sandals this season and decided to try this pair and couldn’t be happier with them. They’re just the raffia style I had been on the look for,… just the right amount of height and very comfortable (with a padded leather insole). Highly recommend if you’re finding yourself looking for something easy to wear for grassy backyard hangs / summer cocktail events / when you want a little extra height but don’t want to wear a heeled sandal.

And a note on the sizing of this dress: I’m 5’1” and wearing the UK size 6 and it fits me perfectly (but as a maxi rather than a midi). Which is usually the case with me!
