After a very heavy week ~ sending you all so much love!

Something that always gives me a sense of calm is mood boarding… so here you have it… some of my October pins, color inspiration and easy everyday outfit ideas (and finds from Shopbop’s Style Event (up to 25% off with code: STYLE).

My top three picks from the sale are these jeans (the wash is perfection ~ very similar to a pair of Celine jeans of mine you always ask about), this boucle coat is that nice balance between cozy and dressy (love that taupe color!), and this half zip sweater which looks like the easiest pullover to throw on for morning school drop-offs and everything in-between.

Color-wise and style-wise I’m craving: chocolate browns and black and white combinations with pops of red, green and cobalt blue. And layered jewelry a la Leandra Medine.

Looks I’ve been repeating:

All-white / ecru with black accessories (always easy and always looks great)

A look I want to wear:

Head-to-toe chocolate brown. And all-black with a hint of mint green (love the Ashley Olsen inspiration with her beaded bag.

A mid-October list

What I’m looking forward to this month:

01 /

Apple Picking with R & W

A new spot to check out: The Orchard at Apple Lane in Auburn (for those in the area).
02 /

Where Art & Wine Meet

Donum Estate ~ I actually just checked this one off my list last week with friends and the art collection is pretty great! A gorgeous winery with outdoor sculptures and paintings to view while drinking delicious wines… made for the perfect afternoon with girlfriends.

We grabbed lunch following at the newly opened Valley Swim Club from the team behind one of my favorite spots to eat in Sonoma: Valley.

03 /

Halloween Family Movie Night

We landed on Hocus Pocus with Rex and Willow Sunday evening which put me in that Halloween spirit. Snuggling on the couch with a bowl and popcorn was the perfect ending to the weekend.

04 /

Omakase Date Nights

I’ll be in New York this month and can’t wait to eat at the newly opened Bar Miller in the East Village for omakase sushi.

I’m also looking forward to dinner at the newly opened omakase spot in Sacramento too!: Okesutora

05 /

Noguchi Museum

Also topping my list of things I’m looking forward to this October trip to NY: visiting the Noguchi Museum.

Everyday October style… from Shopbop’s Sale Event happening now! (And if you missed it, under $300 style finds for you here)
