I always have fall style on the mind, ha! (my favorite season and weather for dressing!)… a chance for layering and cozy-ing up, great bags… pulling out all of the suedes, leathers… my favorite jackets and blazers… nothing makes me more excited to get dressed!! I’ve had a number of you ask what’s on my pre-fall wish list so I have been wanting to sit down to start to share a bit more.
I’m all about a thoughtful approach to style and I feel like I’ve curated a closet of investment pieces and basics over the years that I absolutely love. I’ve been leaning more and more towards the classics in the past few years especially, in an attempt to elevate my style after those early years of motherhood. I’ve honed in on what flatters my body type and what I feel the best in. I love a great basic but mixing in those special pieces to make the look your own (sentimental jewelry, a statement jacket or bag, vintage finds etc.). I’m continuously drawn to and looking for pieces from Totême, Khaite, Another Tomorrow and The Row. But also mixing in some other high-low pieces for that edge I love / dose of personality. So this is a little mix of classic fall staples I own along with a few pieces I have been eyeing… just a start, more to come!
I’m especially craving a pop of red this season (still all about these boots or maybe a red bag?). I know red is so classic but it’s a color I don’t own a lot of and I’m loving this black, cream / white, camel and red color story.

First things first, a pink sneaker moment. I’ve had these on my wishlist for months and was gifted them from Mytheresa. I couldn’t love the pop of pink more and think they’re such a fun way to transition from summer mode into fall. Mytheresa has such a great selection of Golden Goose sneakers if you’re on the hunt (and a lot of cool exclusive styles as well). They’re quite expensive but I wear mine so much that I do think they balance out the cost per wear. Also, I’ve found this particular style of Golden Goose to be the most comfortable.
I just spent all of last week in this sweater and it’s the perfect cropped style! Everyone needs it… one of my all-time faves from Jenni Kayne (code: ALICIA15). Also, loving this striped knit for another great transitioning into fall sweater. I took an XXS in both sweaters because I wanted them as cropped on me as possible. (I’d size down one size or take your normal size if you don’t want it as short).
Another sweater worth snagging –– I own this wrap style cardigan in a dark gray / brown and love it… now on sale in this beautiful lighter shade!
K back to Jenni Kayne, the Saturday Sweat-set is a fave for loungewear. I now own this set in both navy and cream. They wash up well and I like this sweatshirt styled with denim and sneakers for an easy on-the-go mom mode look. It’s also what I like to sleep in most nights during the winter.
Loving a cargo pant if looking for another non-denim pant option. Nili Lotan makes my faves.
You know I love a great cream knit dress (and this one is so me). Another tank dress I’ve been living in lately / traveled in this past week is this one from James Perse. I’ve kinda fallen back in love with James Perse again recently. Just the best for basics (also comes in this pretty color)!
I’ve had the Khaite Lotus bag on my radar for a few seasons now (also love it in this beautiful brown suede and this cute mini version)! It’s the ultimate chic workbag if you’re looking for an upgrade. I love the shape and luxe look of it.
I’m finally feellng in the mood to wear taller heels again (after a few years now?!) and if I make any splurges I think these will be the ones. I’ve been crushing on Alaïa heels for years and years.
Oh also, eyeing this gorgeous Alaïa bag (and in black)! SO chic yet has that edge… I love that I rarely see anyone carrying this bag. Such a gorgeous option if debating a splurge crossbody that’s different from say a Celine.
Also currently into a blush pink sunglass moment. Pairs from Celine and Loewe for a fun statement and switch-up from my classic styles.
