Black One-Piece Swimsuits

You know I love a great classic black one-piece swimsuit. I live in them in the summer. There’s just something effortlessly cool and flattering about them… they’re also mom-appropriate and timeless. If you find a great one / fit, it’s really all you need and will last you for years.

I own this classic square one piece from Hunza G (also available here) and it truly is the most comfortable… it’s wild how they’re one-size fits all but somehow they are (an affordable similar version from J.Crew and I’ve heard great things about this Aerie one too). This Hunza G one gets a winning vote for me as well as I love the tortoiseshell loop detailing. The other favorite black swimsuit that I own is this style from Totême. I find the balconette tops to be so flattering on me personally and I like the dainty thin straps. I also love the full coverage of this one in the booty area. Tory Burch made a similar cut and style as well which I just ordered to try and I’ll report back! I also want to try this one from Totême. I love a low v-neck and think it’s especially chic in white. The third black one-piece suit that I have owned for a few years now and love is this gorgeous one from Matteau (a few sizes here). I love the square neck line, that cut is just so flattering. My only regret with this one is that I wished I had sized up (mine is a size 1 and I wish I had ordered the next size up, a 2). And lastly, I love a strapless swimsuit for zero tan lines and bought this one when I was newly pregnant with Willow. The ruched sides make it super flattering and I sized up so I could wear it well into my pregnancy.

More chic and flattering options!
