Keeping it short and sweet today ~ 5 cool finds / things to share with you from this week!

Quilted Jacket Love

It’s soccer mom season… and it’s getting chilly which means it’s the perfect weather for a quilted jacket. I found a gem of a quilted jacket with a detachable shearling collar that I know you’ll love! It’s slightly boxy so it’s ideal for layering underneath (I’m wearing size S).

PS: Such a good coat selection right now in general from No.6 (a smaller NY / made in the US brand to keep on your radar!). I’m loving their fleeces and puffers especially (for those practical jackets but these feel cooler than your average puffer).

2 Killer Sweaters from 2 Small Brands

Speaking of smaller brands to know ~ I have 2 killer fall sweaters for you if you’re in the market from two amazing small brands. Both are extra warm!

New to me: be sure to check out the yak sweaters from Tercette! Beyond warm (100% yak wool!), the chunkiest most delicious sweater and this brown hue is so good.

Secondly: from one of my fave smaller NY based brands, Shaina Mote restocked this sweater again and it’s just the best. So unique!, made in Peru, alpaca cotton blend. Slouchy cool perfection!

Keeping it real with a lovely blemish on my chin this week. The stress was showing itself I guess.

Khaite x Bonpoint

Okay, for the moms, I have to share ~ did you see the Khaite x Bonpoint kids collab that launched this week? The perfect match! Also for my Khaite fans… the popular studded Sara bag is now available in a smaller size (Resort 24)… which I personally prefer!

Another good collab from this week!

Another good collab! This Camille Rowe x Ref dress made me gasp this week… giving me mermaid vibes (similar to my Simkhai dress)… and lots of good holiday dresses / inspiration if you’re looking!

A High-Rise Denim to try (under $130)

So I’m super excited to be working with Madewell on a project (stay tuned ~ Madewell has some gems this season ~ a personal favorite!) and got to try on all of their denim to see the various fits. I found some great pairs but my personal fave was this perfect vintage wide leg. I know not everyone loves a high-rise but this is one to try as it has some stretch and magically sucks everything in you want sucked in (it’s a cult fave for a reason). I like this blue for a knock-around pair (the wash is a great worn in denim look which I’m super particular about but Madewell got it right with this pair) and the black for a clean, nicer black jean. I sized up one size in these because I wanted a slightly looser fit and I’m happy with the fit.
