After filling up on champagne and pie–we moved into the other room to make floral wreaths. I have been wanting to create a pretty fall wreath for our front door–but not your typical burnt orange and autumnal reds. Instead I wanted to make something a bit more unique–and well, moody cool! Here’s where Bianca came in again and pulled together the DIY necessities along with florals from Natasha Kolenko. We turned my current empty office room into a floral bar, cranked up Lorde, and got busy making our wreaths. Mine is currently hanging on our front door and is making me all kinds of happy every time I walk through the door.
What’s needed to make / host your own DIY Floral Wreath Making Party:
A mix of florals (include plenty of branchy florals and greenery that will last longer than just a few days) | Brass rings | Sheers | Wire | Ribbon | Black Leather (or some kind of ties to hang the wreaths from)
Get creative and wrap the florals around your ring with the wire. Use ribbon to tie bows if wanted, and we attached black leather to hang the wreaths from.
Peonies + berries are my current obsession for holiday floral displays!
Again, it was such a fun girls afternoon and would be an easy activity to recreate–whether you make fall or holiday wreaths!
