Mini Moments

“Eyeballs” in a bookstore window.

Our neighborhood is starting to feel festive, and I love it. Pumpkins are out on stoops, storefronts are decorated with scarecrows and haunted scenes, and my guy recently stocked up on candy corn. I’ve refused to pick up pumpkins at the grocery store because I’ve been craving a “fall” outing. An upstate trip to get our pumpkins, pick apples, drink hot apple cider and to see the changing leaves needs to happen soon (possibly this weekend!). Have you carved pumpkins yet? I always enjoy decorating my place and the hype that comes with Halloween, even though I doubt I will host or attend any parties this year; a scary movie is admittedly sounding more my speed.

I’ve decided to change the scene / quote in our fireplace weekly. (The giant thumbs up is a recent TJ Maxx score… $9, was pretty excited about that one).

Judgmental cat in a neighbor’s window. He gave me a serious stare down.

Orange flowers (our current Halloween decor… we still need to get our pumpkins).

My new favorite delicate rings from Catbird.

Sending notes to faraway friends.
