Stanly Ranch Napa

Our Stay at Stanly Ranch

I have been counting down the weeks for our stay at Stanly Ranch all summer. Obviously, for a chance to get away kids-free with T! But also because I was so excited to check out this new Auberge property in the heart of Napa. Upon pulling up to Stanly Ranch those rolling vineyard views instantly put us in that happy, relaxed wine-country state. There’s something undeniably relaxing in the air at Stanly…
The weekend was a true reset for us. It’s such a special property, gorgeous in design and it’s setting… the ideal getaway for some R&R. The thoughtfulness and extra touches throughout our stay from the staff were above and beyond. We had amazing garden fresh meals at Bear the main restaurant, that spa is incredible (I had a massage and a facial and I am already eager to plan my next spa day back). I even got Tanner to do the Springhouse spa circuit with me (the curved design of the cedar sauna is stunning)… a daily must. We slept in and took afternoon naps!, lounged by the pool in one of the cabanas, sipped cocktails (I loved the Palomino), indulged in lingering breakfasts something we rarely  get to do with kids these days… it was heaven. There are trails throughout the property for walking and biking along with fitness classes and gym. I can only imagine how amazing the property will feel in the next year or so as the plants grow in and the property continues to come to life. We can’t wait to return!

A snap from our first night –– we enjoyed a glass of wine on our patio before walking down to Bear for dinner. The sun setting over vineyards is magic!

All of the bites and meals we had during our stay were delicious! Fresh from the garden and seasonally inspired which is how I love to eat. You can walk through the garden where all of the produce for the restaurant comes from and I loved learning more about the culinary program at Stanly Ranch as a one of a kind, working ranch. Everything is sustainably sourced.

The rooms are modern in design, luxurious and comfortable. The bed was heavenly (we both slept in way later than we thought we would so obviously we needed it) and I loved that shower! Each room also has an outdoor shower which we always enjoy. Also something I’ve come to really appreciate when traveling, they had a (clothing) steamer in the room!

The spa was a real highlight for me. I had my first lymphatic drainage massage that felt so rejuvenating. I ended up booking their signature facial as well after reading over the spa menu and I loved the extra pampering. But really, I wanted to be able to report back on both treatments! The facial left my skin looking the best it’s looked in a long time. Clear and glowy after a few weeks of travel and too much sun. It was much needed. This is actually bad news for my bank account as the skincare line they use is Biologique Recherché (one that I like to splurge on from time to time) and now I think I need to invest in everything they used on me because I loved the results so much! I took home samples and my skin is still glowing. So I will definitely be planning another spa day asap! Maybe for my birthday? And another day to sit by this pool.

We relaxed after the spa by the main pool and grabbed lunch in one of the cabanas. It’s really nice that the cabana’s are free and since the property is new the pool wasn’t crowded at all.

I ordered the gem lettuce salad and T had the chicken sandwich,… both were delish. I definitely snagged bites of his sandwich and fries, as I always do.

A bite on our patio when we first arrived. The crudite is a must with raw veggies from the garden (mmm, that cashew-miso dip) as are the warmed olives! Omg!

The evenings were a little breezy after the sun went down so we cozied up by the fire. There were multiple fire pits and lounge spots throughout the property to take your morning coffee or just sit for a bit. We went for a walk with our coffees both mornings after grabbing them to-go from their on property coffee shop. I also really appreciate that the coffee shop and spa shop are expertly curated with ceramics and items from throughout the property.
