May Dress Edit

With all of the upcoming spring events… Mother’s Day, graduations, baby showers and birthday parties… I wanted to round up some dresses to hopefully fit your mood! With so many of these more casual events I tend to always be on the hunt for a great dress option. And I’m someone who is actually rather particular when it comes to dresses… I’m particular about the prints… (because I’m short I have learned that certain prints leave me feeling like kid-sis next to my model girlfriends). I do love a feminine floral dress in the spring (but again, it has to be the right floral)… I love a print that’s a bit more unique and unexpected or I’ve learned I just can’t go wrong with a simple linen dress that’s completely classic and versatile… a dress I can wear alllll week long if I wanted to and no one would really notice because it always looks great. You know that closet staple! We all have one. (Lately, this has been my staple… but I’m also loving this similar style for less, from Dissh).

If I’m investing in a dress I also want to make sure I can wear it for multiple occasions and like to consider the shoe situation / how I can restyle it with a platform sandal and flats or a colored bag / vintage clutch.

May Dress Edit

So I wanted to include a mix of easy dresses that will transition through the season (and years) and can easily be dressed up or down…

A few possible occasions…

Night Out | I love this green dress for instance with this heel for a sexier vibe… or a simple gold sandal for say, a night out in Cabo.

Rex’s Graduation | Would love to wear this dress… most likely with these sandals (something flat and comfy)

Babyshower / Girls’ Brunch | My girlfriend has this dress and it’s so good on!
