Better With Wear

Some items just get better and better with wear, and my closet staples (a few seen here) have really proved this. For starters, my Céline bag has really proved to be a smart investment. Even though I originally bought it used, I think it’s my roughness that’s really added to the worn-in look (which I happen to love). Same goes with my leather jackets and these riding boots which just seem to get more and more comfortable with wear.

On another note, I’ve been in San Francisco since Monday hanging with lots of sweet blogging ladies in celebration of the new Nordstrom Rack store opening in Union Square as well as working on a new consulting gig (very excited about this because it gives me an excuse to be in the city weekly now). Before driving off to SF, I met my friend Michelle at the Capital Park where we snapped these pics. It was sprinkling off and on so I threw on my fedora, which always helps to hide my frizz (oh, curly hair problems), and the coziest knit I could find (ideal for car rides). So yeah, more cacti, layered stripes, and coral lips. Typical as of late!
