April Wanna Get Away

After a weekend in wine country I’m feeling refreshed and ready to plan my next rendezvous with my girlfriends! I now prefer my wine country dates to be more food heavy and lounge / sunshine / spa-indulgent with a side of wine tasting. I shared my ideal day trip to wine country and a quick list of some of my favorite spots that I always return to here.

If you’re looking to plan a Mother’s Day getaway or have any upcoming warm-weather outings on your calendar here are some pieces and looks I’m loving at the moment for inspiration! A mix of spring / summer staples from my closet (like this dress and these chic poolside sandals) along with those more special standout dresses and skirts that make vacation dressing FUN.

In My Bag:

Skirts! This one might be my fave I’ve seen from Farm Rio. It would be perfect with a simple tee, over your swimsuit or easily dressed up for dinner. This is another fun one too (run don’t walk for this set, this is another one of those that I’m sure will go quickly!!) if you’re looking for a longer midi length. I love my greens!

Sunglasses: I’m obsessed with Bottega’s cat-eyes. They bring the drama in the best way.

This fringed dress is so chic and fun for a day by the pool. (So many fun pieces by ESCVDO!).

If you’re heading somewhere with a lot of walking ~ this is a cool new color way on my 998 Newbalance sneakers. (They run a little big so I sized down a half size fyi)

If you’re looking for a classic black vacay dress with sleeves this one has your name!
