My girlfriend and I had a good laugh last week as we shared similar stories about our experiences adjusting to new cities (her: San Francisco, me: Sacramento). We both coincidentally moved back to the west coast from New York (we lived just a couple of blocks from each other) around the same time this past fall. We laughed because we both agreed that we find ourselves playing the “new to the city” card far too often when we’ve both been back on the west coast 6+ months now. Crazy how time flies! Adjusting to a new city, finding your peeps, discovering your favorite coffee shops, and restaurants (with the right low-key vibe) all takes time.
I’ve shared a few of my Sacramento faves so far, Fringe for unique home finds, Hook & Ladder for dinner / drinks, and now, for lunch dates I’m loving: Cafeteria 15L. Not only is the food pretty scrumptious (the trio of fries is where it’s at), but the decor is right up my alley too.
(The sweet potato + special sauce is my fave trio of fries combination.)
Wearing: Equipment Top (also love). Vince Shorts (similar). Anine Bing Boots. Ray-Ban Sunglasses. Ariel Gordon and Jennifer Fisher Necklaces. Celine Purse.
