Packing for a Summer Getaway with Saks x Tory Burch -

I just love the spontaneity of summer and live for last minute beach days with the family / poolside weekend hangs with girlfriends!

I recently packed a last minimal weekend getaway bag with pieces I could mix-and-match. When it comes to packing I try my best to streamline and keep it pretty minimal (especially in the summer when I know I’ll be in my swimsuit most of the time anyway). I try to think about what activities I’ll be doing and realistically what I’ll be wearing / living in the most. I toss everything on my bed and then whittle it down to just a few key pieces. A small weekend bag of essentials… pieces that make you feel good but can be re-worn throughout the weekend in various ways so you don’t have to drag too much along with you. I picked out some Tory Burch pieces that I found at Saks that I am obsessed with… I just loved the fit of everything and all of the bright colors! Such a fun summer mood.

In My Bag | You know my love for a classic black, well fitted swimsuit and this one checks all of my boxes –– so comfy, and I love the coverage and the fact that the straps are adjustable so you don’t have to worry about tan lines. Also in my bag, was this wrap skirt. I love the print, the tassels on the ends and the fact that it feels dressy enough to wear to a poolside meal. I’m loving beautiful wraps this summer! I’m also obsessed with the 70s vibe of this caftan, the yellow blossom print and neon / green orange pop is so fun. I dressed it all up with fringe sandals and this chic ivory leather bag.
