Vintage {Flea Market} Finds

I blogged about the Alameda Flea Market after my first trip here, and I finally remembered to go again this past Sunday. The first of the month usually comes and goes so quickly that I completely forget about this great market. Thankfully I circled the date on my calendar well in advance and set my alarm Saturday night so there was no missing out this time. I ended up going by myself which was quite enjoyable. It’s always fun to go shopping with a companion, but I also relish the time I get to shop all by myself. It’s basically my quiet (me) time. Lots of browsing, coffee drinking, and walking involved… some of my favorite things. I was able to negotiate the prices on both of my purchases and feel very pleased with myself (isn’t it funny how we like to brag about our great deals?!). I’m particularly in love with this fox stole that can be attached to any sweater or jacket for an added touch of glamour. I wore it around my apartment for the rest of the afternoon even though I was simply lounging in my sweat pants.

By the way, thank you for your comments regarding my makeup post. I’ve enjoyed testing out my new lipsticks and thought Nars Heat Wave was appropriate while wearing fur. I hope you have a glamorous day…
