Under a pile of receipts, bubble gum, magazines, nail polishes and boxes I found my desk again! My guy was out of town this weekend so I thought I’d surprise him with a clean apartment to return home to (very thoughtful of me ~ I know). After reorganizing, dusting and swiffering like a crazy person I was so proud of my progress and excited about the prospect of sitting at my desk again that I simply had to share. I’m only sorry I didn’t think to take a picture of the before scene so you could fully appreciate the “after.”
Fresh flowers, twinkly lights and burning candles make our place feel extra homey. (Since it was snowing most of Saturday I had the twinkly lights on during the day. They just make me so happy! Which is also the reason why I’ve kept them up since, oh before Christmas. Yea, they may never come down.)
