The best (and possibly worst) part about keeping a blog is that it is a public diary. It’s fun and funny to look back on older posts to see how much has changed and even how different I look. Those early posts are only slightly embarrassing, and while I’ve been tempted to go back and hit delete I find them completely inspiring and a great reminder for how much I’ve accomplished and have grown up in the past 3 years.

2012 in particular was a big year for both my guy and I…
For starters, he finished up graduate school and we moved into the city (a dream come true for me).
I couldn’t be happier in our cozy little apartment and have thoroughly enjoyed decorating it.
I dyed my hair red last spring after years of itching for a change… who knows when I’ll go back to brunette.
This guy made the move to New York City too.
I wore plenty of leopard / cheetah prints and sequins.
I was lucky enough to meet many designers and “creatives” that I admire.
Collaborated on various freelance projects including: styling Minnetonka Moccassin’s Spring ’13 Look book,
market stories for Elle Magazine and designed a cheetah print clutch.

Am thankful for close girlfriends who live down the street and quaint coffee shops where we can meet.
I traveled to London to visit my sister (planning another trip in 2013).
Completed a year of beauty posts with Revlon.
Spent our first fall and festive holiday season in Manhattan.
Took numerous photos of french bulldogs around my neighborhood.
Lived in this grey sweatshirt (more than I’d like to admit).
Attended New York Fashion Week in both the spring and fall.
And drove cross country with my guy this past summer (NY –>> CA).
I’m looking forward to the new and exciting endeavors that 2013 will bring!
