Ladies Who Lunch.

Lunch at Market Table (a favorite) with my close friend and stylish neighbor, Christine.
This past Saturday was one of those days where brunch with a close girlfriend led to late afternoon dessert which then led to opening a bottle of wine back at my place, and still not ready for the fun to end, we coerced my guy to walk with us to Nolita for tacos. Sunday was a friend and fun-filled day as well (Easter brunch turned into a game of Celebrity ~ always entertaining although I’m never that great at it).

Moving across the country, away from our families and friends, and knowing very few people has definitely been rough at times, but it’s days like these that make me realize how grateful I am for all of the wonderful people in my life. And with my one year anniversary in New York City right around the corner, which is crazy in itself, I’m feeling especially thankful for the new East Coast friends in my life, a lot of whom I’ve actually met through my blog! So thanks internet for bringing people together!

Anything including brussels sprouts and poached eggs and I’m sold.

Oh and besides one year in NYC ~ my one year as a red head is coming up too (double the crazy)!
