Fentons Creamery is the highlight of my family’s visit whenever they come to the bay area. My mom grew up in Oakland and remembers many trips for ice cream cones as a young girl as well as on dates in high school. Whenever she or my aunt are in town we have to stop off at Piedmont Avenue for this rich, creamy taste of heaven! Between my cousins and I alone I am pretty confident we have tried just about every flavor, including their seasonal specialities.
