Watching The Silence of the Lambs (which I had never seen and still have never seen) while drinking cosmos aka: ‘Crannibal Lectors’ seemed like the perfect end to the weekend until about 20 minutes into the movie. It’s funny, horror films always seem like a great idea especially around Halloween but I think I’ve turned into a bit of a wimp as I get older. If you’re braver than I am, make a ‘Crannibal Lector,’ turn down the lights and sit back and wait for Anthony Hopkins to give you the creeps. And if you’re not a fan, you can always watch back to back episodes of Homeland like we ended up doing (such a great show).
I’d love to hear what movie has scared you the most over the years, mainly so I can be sure to never watch it (ha)!
Crannibal Lector
2 parts Beefeater Gin
3 parts cranberry juice
Lime wedge and mint to garnish
Pour all ingredients over cubed ice, stir and squeeze in the juice of a lime wedge.
