A snap from our first night –– we enjoyed a glass of wine on our patio before walking down to Bear for dinner. The sun setting over vineyards is magic!
All of the bites and meals we had during our stay were delicious! Fresh from the garden and seasonally inspired which is how I love to eat. You can walk through the garden where all of the produce for the restaurant comes from and I loved learning more about the culinary program at Stanly Ranch as a one of a kind, working ranch. Everything is sustainably sourced.
The rooms are modern in design, luxurious and comfortable. The bed was heavenly (we both slept in way later than we thought we would so obviously we needed it) and I loved that shower! Each room also has an outdoor shower which we always enjoy. Also something I’ve come to really appreciate when traveling, they had a (clothing) steamer in the room!
We relaxed after the spa by the main pool and grabbed lunch in one of the cabanas. It’s really nice that the cabana’s are free and since the property is new the pool wasn’t crowded at all.
I ordered the gem lettuce salad and T had the chicken sandwich,… both were delish. I definitely snagged bites of his sandwich and fries, as I always do.
A bite on our patio when we first arrived. The crudite is a must with raw veggies from the garden (mmm, that cashew-miso dip) as are the warmed olives! Omg!
The evenings were a little breezy after the sun went down so we cozied up by the fire. There were multiple fire pits and lounge spots throughout the property to take your morning coffee or just sit for a bit. We went for a walk with our coffees both mornings after grabbing them to-go from their on property coffee shop. I also really appreciate that the coffee shop and spa shop are expertly curated with ceramics and items from throughout the property.
