I flew off to France on Friday with my family for another adventure (you can follow along with me here) but in the meantime I wanted to share the last of my Puerto Rican memories with you!
You may remember that my guy and I cruised our way into San Juan and explored old town this past December, and now after getting a taste of what the rainforest, ocean, and resort life is like I am officially a true Puerto Rico fan. Although both trips have been such teases in my mind (the first mini stop over was only a half day) ~ and I’m dying to go back soon to explore more with my girlfriend Chris who is originally from the island.
One aspect of this trip that I will definitely keep in mind for any future trips (especially when traveling a far distance): a trip to the spa and a little exercise upon arrival sure helps shake that jet lag. We threw on our Jockey robes and headed straight for massages and dip in the jacuzzi. Also another little luxury that was well worth the splurge after a cross country flight–treating ourselves to a blowout for the evenings’ activities. I mean who really wants to style their hair on that first night (with all that humidity) anyway?

My babe-a-licious girlfriend and trip-partner-in-crime–who you would never believe is a mother of 3! Will definitely be turning to her for post-baby flat tummy secrets when I’m at that stage.
