After a whirlwind last week in New York and a slight case of jet lag I spent my first couple of days in London catching up on some much needed zzz’s. But I am so happy to be back in this city I adore so much, and it worked out great for my sister as she was finishing up the final round of edits on her dissertation and we all know she sure didn’t need me coaxing her to go out! After she turned that seriously impressive thing in (go girl!) we celebrated over brunch, perused antiques in Angel, and finalized our travels for the rest of the week.

When packing for my travels a plaid shirt was a must—especially in London. This cozy top has been my go-to these past couple of days as the leather detailing adds just the right amount of cool. And I’ve actually been surprised by how much I’ve been lusting over tartan mini skirts after spotting them on numerous girls here. So not my usual look but I’m digging them paired with moto jackets and boots. Maybe a look for you?
