I’ve been living in sweatshirts more than ever these past couple of months. They’re great because a) they’re cozy–tis the season!, b) I could care less if Rex gets any bodily fluids on me when I’m wearing one, and c) which goes with b) they’re easy to clean. But my true new mom secret to not looking sloppy is the type of sweatshirt and how I accessorize. I have a few brands I keep coming back to for more stylish yet clean sweatshirt silhouettes and Citizens of Humanity makes my absolute faves. They’re extra thick making them feel rather luxurious for a sweatshirt, and the cropped style makes them feel a bit more elevated than say your college hoodie. I’m also particular when it comes to logos and designs and find that the classic colors elevate the look the most. Plus sweatshirts are surprisingly easy to jazz up with jewelry, cool sneakers, and a jacket and with “atheleisure style” still going strong a stylish sweatshirt is an easy way to head from your workout to brunch (or at least look like you worked out) while still looking put together.
