Flashing back to a couple weeks ago now, when I hosted my girlfriends for a Zimmermann spring preview and chance to see their new San Francisco store. (Located on Jackson Street, across the street from Isabel Marant, so needless to say it’s a dangerous corner for me.). First off, the space itself and decor / design is insanely beautiful! Previously it was a gallery and so the building is stunning with gorgeous white brick walls. The Zimmermann girls said it’s their most beautiful store yet, so it’s for sure a must visit soon if you’re in the area. Secondly, let’s talk about their spring collection! For those who aren’t familiar with the brand, Zimmermann is an Australian label that has really made their mark in the fashion scene over the past couple of years. I went to my first Zimmermann runway show this past season in New York and I’m just so impressed with how far the line has come since knowing them mainly for their swimsuits. It’s one of those special lines that sure, is pricey, but are pieces you will splurge on and hang onto for years. I have two of their swimsuits now from past seasons and I can’t wait to pull them back out again this summer (once I feel bikini ready that is). They just make you feel extra special on the beach! And their dresses and separates just make you yearn for a summery cocktail in your hand–and to be at some magical soirée. Ideal spring / summer wedding guest attire for sure! Sharing some favorites from this collection below along with a few snaps from our night.
The Zimmermann team let me choose my charity of choice to donate a fraction of the proceeds to… which always makes shopping feel good. I chose Shriner’s Hospital which holds a very special place in my heart as my sister was a patient growing up.
You know I love my baby chairs. Couldn’t get enough of this one and snagged my girlfriend’s camera to snap this pic myself!
Wearing | Moncur Chevron Frill Dress (also love the skirt). Freda Salvador Boots.
After I had changed into my denim to drive home. Rather ironic that the three pregnant girls (on the couch) were the last ones left at the end of the night… soaking up this girlfriend time while we can. 😉
