Wear Now: Golden Hour Edit

I tapped my most stylish girlfriend, Chris, to hear what she’s into right now as we’re transitioning into spring mode. Chris and I were instant friends (we met when both of our husbands were at graduate school at Cornell and lived in Ithaca together for one chilly winter). We moved from Upstate New York into Manhattan at the same time and became weekend brunch and shopping besties (read: dangerous together). We’re now living across the states from each other, she’s in Miami and I’m in California, but we manage to see each other a couple times a year and sneak in the occasional FaceTime. She’s the only girlfriend I ask for style advice. Even though we have slightly different styles, she just gets me, and has such a good eye that I’m always curious what brands she’s into and what’s on her radar. I know you’ll love her spring-forward edit, and I added a few of my picks into the mix as well! xx Alicia

Golden Hour Edit––Chris Gentilini

As someone who primarily wears black, recently I have caught myself shifting towards a wider range of neutrals. When thinking of what to wear to my next dinner party or event, a constant color palette has been present: beautiful sunset oranges, ochre, cinnamon, marigold and hints of olive. I’m planning to incorporate a mix of these hues to give my all-black looks a touch of color as we head into spring.

How I’m wearing it right now: Blazé Milano Blazer

On my spring wish-list…

Toteme Linen-Blend Dress – style with a chic strap-y sandal for a casual event or spring wedding.

Golden Hour Edit /

Frankie Shop Blazer – such a versatile, year-round blazer. Pair it with faded black straight leg denim and boots.

Golden Hour Edit /

Jenni Kayne Suede Mule–a go-to spring flat. Slip on with a cropped white pant and trench coat.
