Valentine’s Day Accessorizing

Whether you plan to fully embrace Valentine’s Day and add a playful heart touch to your look, or keep things classic while lounging on the couch in your pjs watching Netflix (my vote!!), I had fun rounding up a few splurgy… trendy… classic and perhaps something personalized and last minute to ask your Valentine for.  Or treat yourself like I did!

Something Personalized. |  While in New York this week I found the sweetest dainty letter necklaces at Love Adorned.  (A favorite jewelry shop I always pop into on Elizabeth Street).  I was originally thinking of something personalized for our new baby but since we’re not 100% on the name yet I opted for the safe route and picked up a  tiny letter “R” necklace.  It’s a short chain length, so it’s perfect for layering and I can just keep it on everyday.  I rarely ever take off a similar tiny diamond star necklace and as a mom, love pieces I can keep on–wear to bed, shower in, and never have to worry about Rex pulling on.  If you’re in New York, it was only $85 in the store.  I love the ones they’re showing on their website but they’re 18K and are a bit different / pricier.  Just FYI.

Barrette Love.  |  Another fave accessory I already mentioned that I’m loving right now are: barrettes.  They’re SO fun to play around with right now and have been on everyone at New York Fashion week.  A fun find that someone tipped me off to when I posted about loving the barrette trend over on instagram is this Australian line: The Outlier.  The pieces are really affordable, making playing with the trend easier on the wallet.

Embracing Hearts. |  I don’t know there’s something I kind love about these… although I much prefer the gold.  So cute with just a white tee and denim.

And a few additional jewelry faves I’m currently crushing on…
