You guys know I love a great vintage / thrifted find and this studded, Golden Goose jacket might just be my favorite find of the summer. I actually found it a couple of months back, but as you can imagine, mother nature hasn’t given me many opportunities for wear lately with her 100+ temps. Thankfully, I’ve been able to pack it along during my trips to San Francisco and wore it again one day this last week. It takes a simple striped tee and denim look up a notch, adding just the right amount personality–wouldn’t you agree?
As most great finds go, I passed it up the first time around. I decided to sleep on it and brought a girlfriend back the next day for a second opinion. When a girlfriend tells you she feels like you already own it you know it was meant to be. And if I had to think about what makes the perfect thrifted finds, that might be the key–if when you slip it on you feel like you’ve worn it for years.I’d also like to add that I’ve been obsessed with all things western and cowgirl inspired this summer (pick up the latest Vogue and you will agree as Blake Lively makes it look so good)… and to me this jacket feels like the perfect touch of country (notice the plaid lining) meets city edge. Exactly what my vibe is these days…
