Spring Styling | Merlette

Merlette has become a staple in my closet, and I couldn’t be more excited to share a few spring pieces with you! If you’re not familiar, Merlette is a Brooklyn based atelier creating thoughtfully designed garments for everyday living. Comfy yet beautiful blouses and dresses that you will live in. I love that the line feels seasonless and classic… truly wardrobe staples that you can mix and wear with everything in your closet year-round. The blouses and dresses are all cotton and are breezy silhouettes that are ideal for my mom-life / the spring and summer heat. But it’s really all about the details that make Merlette so special—the smocked necklines, delicate ruffles, flared cuffs and relaxed easy fits all speak to my feminine side so much! I couldn’t love the line more!

Styling some of my favorites here to share with you today so you’ll have to let me know which look is your favorite!

Th Soliman dress speaks to my feminine side so much with the ruffles and breezy silhouette! I’m not usually one to wear lavender but I’m feeling it this spring (I also love it in chambray). It’s such a fun dress for brunches, spring baby showers and day-time events. And carrying a Merlette bag, the Lune mini.

Another similar silhouette, is the blouse version of the above dress — the Roos Blouse. I like that the black feels like it balances out the feminine feel and it’s a style that just looks so good with a skinny pant. Worn with the Asha Mini Tote… a poplin cotton bag in a cool fishtail smocking. It’s that ideal mid-to-small size handbag.
Majorelle Blouse (also comes in white and a tan which I love!) with the smocked neck detailing and ruffle collar––I have such a soft spot for blouses like this in my wardrobe. It’s a blouse that is easy to dress up or down.
Lisse Blouse is another great staple that is a wear with everything kind of blouse. Paired with denim, linen pants and skirts. I just love a flared sleeve!
Paradis Dress which is my ideal warm-weather attire. So comfy cool on a hot day!
