With spring weddings, special occasion events and a bit of warm-weather travel coming up I know a lot of you have been asking me what to wear / on the dress hunt. I haven’t been super excited about the dress options out there but some fun new options trickled in this week… so expect more spring dress round-ups and casual options to come!

Dresses can be so hard to shop online and tell from just a flat photo, so be sure to click through to see it on the model for a better idea of styling, movement and fit… but I’m hoping this may be the start of some inspiration!

Since I’m petite I can easily get lost in dresses which is why I tend to wear more fitted styles. I’m obsessed with the this dress from Acne which would be ideal for a special occasion and one that can be dressed up for evening or worn more casually. It has the prettiest pale pink shimmer to it and I love the way the skirt moves when you walk.

Special Occasion Dressing

I pulled out one of my oldest pairs of heeled sandals (10+ years? from my New York days) and a black clutch to give the look a touch of edge. I would wear the dress with a black blazer this time of year but come warmer weather you could go without and style it with a nude sandal (these look comfy), cool statement earrings… or with a more colorful heel / clutch.
