We drove back into San Francisco this morning for meetings for both my husband and I, and are looking forward to being here throughout the weekend (together this time!). We haven’t been in the city together since this trip when Rex was 2 weeks old–which looking back I’m pretty impressed that we even did that–so it will be nice to go to some of our favorite spots as a family.
I’m wearing a mix of pieces here that I’ve had for a while now. All are trusty staples that I continuously remix, which is how I like to shop, thinking about what items I will love for years to come and will get the most use out of.
Wearing a Margaret O’Leary sweater (an SF based knitwear designer!) and the leather pants that make me feel like a million bucks. Being able to fit into them again after my pregnancy feels so good. I don’t wear my leather pants (or leather pieces in general) enough now that I’m back in California so I just decided the other day that I need to make more use out of them and be sure to pull them out when I head into SF. As much of a casual girl that I am it’s still fun to dress things up a bit even if you don’t have anywhere special to be. And that’s the best part about leather pants–they can feel just as easily dressy as they are casual-cool.
And I’m glad I brought along this army green trench with me again (first seen here–back when I was pregnant!) as the rain has been coming down all day. Looks like we will get some sunshine later this weekend though!
