Well after a perfectly low key weekend celebrating my guy (thanks again for the sweet wishes), Monday kicked off my week to a great start. We ventured into Brooklyn after work last night and saw Solange perform for an intimate crowd in a laundromat (literally!). She is just the cutest and put on a great performance (those washers and dryers were vibrating like crazy, ha). Events like these make me really appreciate New York and thankful for my time here—so many cool, and random happenings! Oh, and the best part of this week? In just a few days I’ll be flying back to California for a weekend spent with my best (we originally called ourselves the “niners” but by senior year became about 12) college girlfriends. Yay!
