This weekend was the ultimate treat!–my guy and I enjoyed a mini staycation on Saturday night at The Citizen Hotel downtown. Spending the night in a hotel room down the street from where you live isn’t something you’d splurge on for yourself but, when someone books the hotel for you (thank you & Other Stories!) and you take advantage of it, you realize what a luxury a staycation really is. A morning to sleep in (a major win for this tired mama)! A night out (another win)! You barely have to pack–and if you forget anything you can always run home. No long drives or travel hassels, which makes the getaway feel even more relaxing. I guess we did hit a few red lights on our way through town… ;P And gives you a chance to explore new parts of your city and have a fun spontaneous night that you might not otherwise.
Another perk? Champs and chocolate in bed… and lounging in my pretty new pjs all morning! & Other Stories launched their new capsule collection of luxurious loungewear celebrating the mood and mystery of Parisian boudoir… that is super cute and chic! I love that the pieces ride that line of wearing outside of the bedroom–like these trousers or the kimonos thrown over jeans and a tee. Love that look!
