There are two things I collect when it comes to the items in my closet: leather jackets (case and point) and denim. They just fit my lifestyle (and personal style) to a tee. In fact, I’m forever on the hunt for both and typically gravitate towards said items when shopping, especially vintage. I recently went through a bit of a vintage-denim-buying phase when I first moved back to California. I had forgotten how affordable the flea market / vintage prices are in comparison to New York so when I would see an awesome pair of perfectly worn-in Levi’s I’d snag them. Never mind that they weren’t my size… some friend would want them, I was sure of it.
From the shredded-cool skinny to camo harem pants, my closet runs the denim gamut but my all-time favorite, and the style that I continue to grab for day in and day out is a more relaxed fitting jean. I’m more than obsessed with Citizens of Humanity’s Premium Vintage line as the boy-fit is right on. Perfectly slouchy, and effortlessly cool. Plus they look like they were scored at that gem of a vintage store, however they’re actually brand new (a win for all you germaphobes!).
When paired with a classic white oxford it’s the ideal, roll out of bed and don’t think twice about what to throw on uniform.
