So I decided to copy LoveTaza this year, and my guy and I have been attempting to go on 12 dates around the holidays together. Even in a new city with less distractions, less events, and honestly a lot less friends, you’d think date nights would be easier to make time for. Wrong. So anyway, all I really want for Christmas is to hang out with him more.
Now we actually didn’t start until this past weekend, so we’re counting Carmel as like 6 dates because we spent the entire weekend together (a first in a while!). But this week we succeeded in having a couple more date nights! Sunday night we watched Love Actually together. (I mean, it isn’t the holidays without that one!) Monday we ate breakfast for dinner (that’s all we had food-wise but it’s always a favorite around here). Oh and we ate it on the floor (I was moving furniture around but that kinda made it feel more date-like) while catching up on our favorite show: Homeland. Which I can’t even really talk about this last episode. Did you watch it?! And then I even dressed up for a drinks date at a nearby hotel. How cool are the wine bottle Christmas trees in the windows.
